Hubby found this yarn and asked me to knit him a pair of socks out of it. I don’t know if you can see the picture well or not but the color of the yarn is yellow. Most of you don’t know my husband but yellow socks is not something I would have ever thought [...]

Recently Michaels had sock yarn on sale. Hubby has been wanting me to knit him some wool socks so I took the plunge, bought some yarn, and looked at patterns on Ravelry. I fell in love with the Lifestyle Toe Up Socks – No Swatch Needed. The instructions are EXCELLENT! I was able to figure [...]

So I found this yarn I really like. It’s 50% off at Michaels this week so I bought some. I bought some in colors I like so I could knit a few things for me. Hubby likes the hat I made so much he wants another one…with a few modifications. Not only that, he really [...]

The next pattern I tried was from [...]

Because my daughter sees me knitting all the time she has wanted to knit. Usually I let her pick out some needles and yarn to play with but today she actually wanted to make something so I got out my knitting looms. She wasn’t able to wrap the yarn herself so I did that but [...]

This is what I am doing for the next couple of days. Knitting. Knitting. And more knitting. I haven’t had the desire to knit for quite some time and now it’s all I want to do. I am experimenting with a few projects and am not sure how they will turn out or what to [...]

I used this pattern. I used a different yarn than the pattern called for but I don’t think they turned out too bad. The point of them is to keep my hands warm and they have been doing their job well.
