I am a happily married 21st century woman who must have too much time on my hands. I enjoy reading blogs…I might actually be addicted. I enjoy reading books…I know I’m addicted. I also enjoy talking on the phone to my best friend…whom I talk to way too much. Really, it’s sad how much time we spend on the phone.
As I stated earlier I enjoy books. As a matter of fact, I am passionate about books. I collect them, I read them, I devour them. I make weekly trips to the library even though I have enough to read and am already in the process of reading two other books.
I mostly feature Christian books because those are the blog alliances I am a part of. However, the majority of the books I read are classified as secular books. I believe you need to have a balance of both otherwise you lose your sense of who you are and what life is really about. There needs to be a balance between the two.
I have other interests besides books and reading but they change with my mood. Last fall, I taught myself how to knit and have finished several pieces that I am proud of and several that I’m not. I like the relaxation and challenge I get from knitting though my first love will always be reading.
