I love knitting dishcloths. I don’t know why. Wait. Yes I do. I love cotton, I love practical, and I love instant gratification. That’s why I love dishcloths. They are quick and easy to make, you always need them, and they are made using my favorite yarn to knit with.

Imagine how happy I was when I found KrisKnits. She designs cloths! Yay! I am in heaven! Seriously, you have to go check her out. I want to purchase all of her sets but my budget is saying no at the moment. I can’t decide if I want the baby set first or the spring set. Either way, I want to knit them. (She also has some free patterns available and that’s what I’m knitting now.)

The above picture is her Mother’s Day Cloth. I used Blue Sky Alpacas Dyed Cotton in Flamingo. I had it on hand and I liked the color. Umm…my cloth is huge. It’s also hand wash only. That’s not very practical but hey it looks great hanging in my bathroom.

My next cloth is going to be Springing Up Flowers. I can’t wait to get started on it. I have my yarn already picked out and this time I’m going to use the cotton yarn the pattern calls for.

Oh and by the way, go over to KrisKnits and check out her photos of the cloths. They are great! I have no idea how to take pictures of my cloth without it looking yucky. Please. Please. Please. I’m begging you. Go look at her cloths. You will love them!
