I like to twitter and along the way I’ve come to tweet with a couple of people who actually cook. As in they cook meals and blog about it.
I’ve looked at their tweets and read their blogs and along the way I’ve gotten hungry. I’ve also started craving real food. Food that’s easy to make yet healthy and yummy.
Speedy No-Knead Bread – This is the recipe that started it all. I read this and knew I had to make this bread. As a matter of fact I plan on making this today. (Recipe originally found at Simple Mom.)
Baked Doughnuts – No wait. This might have been the recipe that started my cooking inspiration. Hubby has been wanting home-made doughnuts and I don’t like to fry so when I saw this recipe I made sure I had all the ingredients and have been planning on making them some weekend but it hasn’t happened yet. (Recipe originally found at SouleMama.)
Tortilla Pizza – During Spring Break I bought the kiddos their own pizza crust, let them pick out their toppings and they made their own personal pizza. I wish I would have had this recipe because it would have been so much easier. (Recipe found at HotSauceDaily.)
I’m starting to see a theme here. All recipes are bread/dough related and all have to be baked. Ha! I thought I was inspired to cook and instead I’m inspired to bake. What’s really funny is that I don’t bake. I only bake when either hubby or the kiddos have a birthday and all I do is throw together a simple cake. (Recipe found at The Pioneer Woman.)
