See that yarn? It’s going to be Otto. I love Otto. I don’t remember how long ago I first saw Otto (I think maybe a year ago) but I fell in love with him. I also fell in love with Elijah, and Sophie, but Otto is the one I couldn’t get out of my mind.
Otto. Otto. Otto. Oh, how I love Otto.
Anyway, I’m knitting him. One for Youngest and one for New Niece. Youngest went with me to the yarn store and picked out the color. Both bears will be knit in the same color.
I originally was going to let youngest pick out the color for her bear and then I was going to get a beige/tan color for Niece. However, Youngest really wanted New Niece to have this same color and I couldn’t resist.
Sooo, I am officially knitting Otto and I am oh so happy!
(I seriously have lusted after this pattern for quite some time!)
(Oh! and the yarn is supposed to be a bright pinkish/salmonish color called flamingo. I don’t know how to take pictures for the color to turn out right.)
