So I’m part of this competition and am working on finishing books I have started reading but not finished. (What a concept.)
This is the second book I’ve finished for the competition, The Reader. I started this book sometime last year with the intent of reading it with Best Friend. Somehow life got in the way and we didn’t finish it.
I found it the other day while rearranging books and decided to see how it ends. The next week I see a commercial for the movie. Huh. Didn’t know they were making a movie out of the book. That really gave me incentive to finish it.
I’m telling Best Friend about it and find out she also decided to finish reading it. So both of us were reading the book together and didn’t know it. Pretty cool, huh.
Anyway, this is my second book to finish for the competition. My first book is here. In it I mentioned trying to finish The Road as my next book. That’s a great goal but I don’t know which book will be next.
