Hubby found this yarn and asked me to knit him a pair of socks out of it. I don’t know if you can see the picture well or not but the color of the yarn is yellow. Most of you don’t know my husband but yellow socks is not something I would have ever thought he would ask for.
I thought he was joking at first but he assured me he was serious. He liked the color and said it would match most of his work pants. He also mentioned later that the yellow would drive one of his co-workers crazy.
I’m not sure when I’ll get to knitting these socks but I thought it was pretty cool that he wanted them. He has been supportive in my knitting habit and it was fun having his input while we were shopping.
I also picked up this brown cotton for my next project, Clapotis. As with the socks I’m not sure when I’ll be able to start knitting it but I finally decided on what yarn and color to use.
I’m still working on my Bite Me scarf (scroll down to the bottom) and I’m still working on hubby’s socks. I’m about halfway done with scarf and just have the leg left on the socks. Both projects are taking longer than I thought they would but that could be because I only knit the scarf when I’m at Lifegroup and the socks in the evening after the kids are in bed.
