Question: How are you using your talents to further God’s Kingdom?
I am knitting. I don’t have all the details worked out yet but I’d like to knit hats to give away to the homeless.
The homeless have been on my heart for quite some time. Especially when I am knitting a hat or scarf. Do they have hats or scarves to help keep them warm?
So I am going to start knitting hats for the homeless. I’m not sure how many I will be able to get done but that is my goal for the year.
Unfortunately, my first hat was knit in a wool that isn’t supposed to be washed in hot water or be put in the dryer. Oops. That wasn’t very practical so I’ll have to look for an affordable, washable wool.
By the way, this post isn’t supposed to be me bragging about how great I am. I hope it doesn’t come across as that. For years I have wondered what I could do. What talents do I have? A few weeks ago it was answered and for that I am thankful.
You may be sitting there thinking you don’t have anything to offer but I’m here to tell you that you do. Everyone has something to offer.
Again, I ask you. How are you using your talents to further God’s Kingdom?

Knitting hats for the homeless is a great idea!! Several ladies from my church knit hats for chemo patients at the local hospitals. There’s always a need for a variety of sizes & colors, even little kids’ hats (unfortunately). It’s been very well-received both at the hospital and by the patients themselves!
