So I found this yarn I really like. It’s 50% off at Michaels this week so I bought some. I bought some in colors I like so I could knit a few things for me.
Hubby likes the hat I made so much he wants another one…with a few modifications. Not only that, he really likes the yarn and wants me to make him a pair of socks.
I have only knit one pair of socks in my life and they were for him. I finish one sock and the last thing I want to do is knit the other one. Soooooo…I’m going to try to knit two socks at once. I’ll have to see how that goes but at least my practice pair will be for me. That way if I still don’t like knitting socks then at least I have a pair also.
Oh, and I’m going back to Michaels tomorrow to purchase some more yarn while it’s still on sale. This time I might think of Hubby while I’m shopping.
Sorry for the knitting post again. I don’t have anything else going on. It’s winter so I’m knitting. It’s what I do when I’m cooped up inside. I could read a book but I don’t feel like right now.
I did sign up for a competition to finish reading books I had started. It sounded interesting and gives me a chance to finish the books I’ve been wanting to read but haven’t.
I’ve been consistently working out for over a month. I’ve been going to Curves. I like it and it’s so different from your regular gyms. Also, because you move from station to station I don’t get as bored. Boredom is one of the reasons I haven’t stuck with exercise.
Let’s see…is there anything else I can bore you with?
I’m typing this the evening before I publish it.
Hubby just announced he’s going to bed.
Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday.
Have I bored you enough? Did you even stay to finish reading this post? I almost didn’t and I’m the one writing it!
Have a great weekend!
