Party over at Pensieve’s…BlogHop ’08

by 123pizza on July 18, 2008

For those of you who don’t know there is a blog conference, BlogHer, going on in San Fransico that I would have liked to have gone to. Alas, I didn’t go but I am going to BlogHop to party with other bloggers who didn’t go to BlogHer.

The instructions were simple–introduce yourself and bring something to the party. The first is easy, I’m Tabitha a 30-something mom to three kids. I’ve blogging for almost a year and am slowly building blog relationships. I’m also always learning and reading.

Now…what to bring…I’m not sure. I don’t ever go anywhere and when I do I usually take a salad. That way there is something there that I like to eat to counteract the sugar rush I may get by eating to much sweet stuff. So that’s what I’ll take to BlogHop, my super easy salad I take just about everywhere. This recipe came from Best Friend’s mom.

    California Salad

Ready Mix Spring Salad (bag lettuce)
Strawberries (cut up)
Avocado (cut up)
Feta Cheese
Slivered Almonds
Olive Oil as the dressing (served on the side)

See. I told you it was super easy. Another salad I love to make came from Caiden’s Mom.

    Greek Salad

Ready Mix Spring Mix (bagged lettuce)
Black Olives
Feta Cheese
Parmesan Cheese
Banana Peppers
Greek Salad Dressing (served on the side)

See you at BlogHop ’08! I’m looking forward to meeting new bloggers!

Ooooh the California Salad sounds really good!! I love feta cheese. I had it in pasta salad on the 4th of July. Someone brought it and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Nice to meet you.

I’m a mom to three, too! I am also always the person who brings salad to potlucks, for the exact reason you wrote about. Glad to know that there’s someone else out there like me. :) Can’t wait to try the California Salad. Thanks for sharing!
