Speaking as someone who had only seen the movie...I was very disappointed. I could feel the chapters metaphorically being stripped away. I knew there had to be a deeper meaning behind almost every scene, but was breathless when I had to conjure my own deeper meaning and hoping that I was right with my own interpetation. It did however, remind me of lost thoughts I had once as I was serching for my own meaning to life...before I was a christian, as you should know...I am not a churched girl! I am relativly new to the whole church gig. Well the reminder of Dante reminded me that I needed to re read him again,as the new person that I am now. So I guess the movie for me was a jumping off point, for my own thoughts ,which has always been the way for me. hmmmm, beautiful blog...best friend... And people say blondes arn't very smart! ooppps, I mean, if in fact you do have blonde hair, or red hair,or black hair, or red and black hair or.....wink,wink....
